Corrine, Thomas and their Big Day by the Zurich Lake
Sunny, warm Sunday in the middle of August. One of many beautiful days this summer in Switzerland. But definitely special day for two amazing people - Corinne and Thomas.
Their wedding ceremony took place in Reformation Church in Meilen. Traveling by boat to the gold coast of the Zurich Lake was really relaxed and made me like I was still on holidays. The heartwarming wedding ceremony was conducted by the priest who was bride's school friend. Amazing singer and pianist made it even more emotional and unforgettable event.
After the ceremony, Corinne and Thomas enjoyed the outdoor apero with their family and friends.
In the afternoon everybody moved to the other side of the Zurichsee to continue the celebration in Hurden. The newlyweds started their travel by lovely old-timer Volkswagen Beetle. We stoped for the short couple photo shooting with the car above the lake. Then changed the mean of transport to the water taxi and enjoyed the cruise through the turquoise waters of the Zurich lake.
When the couple arrived to Hurden, all the guest already waited to greet them in the Restaurant Rössli. After delicious wedding dinner, everyone came out to admire the airshow of famous Patrouille Suisse. It was performed on the occasion of Rapperswil-Jona Seenachtfest. What a great coincidence it was as the bride and a few of the guests are pilots :) The aviation theme was visible for the whole day - since the paper planes during couple's exit from the church, through wedding deco to the wedding games organised by guests. The airshow was the cherry on top.
Because of the Seenachtfest, Corine, Thomas and their guests could also enjoy amazing fireworks show. It is definitely worth to organise the wedding on the date of Seenachtfest.
It was truly a day to remember and I feel honoured that this lovely couple let me capture it.
Wishing you the happiest ever after dear Corinne and Thomas!
